It also comes with LinkScanner, which makes a safety assessment on the websites you visit, as well as any links on social networks such as Facebook or Twitter. If, however, you are more experienced you may want to configure the advanced features of the application. If it isn't green then you need to check out that area.
Overall, AVG Free Edition 2016 gives you strong protection against online threats. Once again resource consumption is low and the scanning speed is high. LinkScanner and gaming mode are really good features too. The downside to AVG AVG Free Edition 2016 is the installation does take an age. During installation, you get a choice of installing AVG free or starting a 30-day trial of AVG pro. Simply select Custom Install an you're good to go.
